From what I understand, they are functional. I haven't try to take one apart yet.
Is it easy to swap to other straps, with the screws on the lugs? Timex Legacy Tonneau 42mm Leather Strap Watch #TW2W50000
I have a leather rally strap that I'd love to swap onto this watch, for a nice racing look. Are the screws on the lugs ornamental and hiding normal spring bar holes, or are they more of a functional/proprietary thing?
