It's correct, no different than Seiko. It's because of the printed number font size, it eats a dot.
Why do a lot of the bezels on the Islander dive watches not have the correct number of dots in between numbers? Watch FAQ
I assume it's just for decoration, but it could be problematic if you wanted to use the timing bezel for a specific number of minutes. Is this just a common design thing that I'm not aware of?
